Terms & Conditions

1. Minimum Age

  • Participation in this Live‑Action Role‑Play event (hereafter the “Event”) is strictly limited to individuals aged 18 and over.

  • A valid piece of identification may be required upon arrival.

2. Registration and Admission

  • Registration is personal, non‑transferable, and non‑refundable unless otherwise specified by the organizers.

  • The organization reserves the right to deny access to anyone who does not meet the admission requirements or who fails to follow the rules of conduct.

3. Conduct and Safety

  • Participants must behave respectfully toward other players, organizers, volunteers, and the venue.

  • Any form of harassment, intimidation, physical or verbal violence, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior is strictly prohibited.

  • Participants must follow all safety instructions provided by the organization, including rules regarding restricted areas, nighttime movement, fires, and equipment use.

4. Weapons, Equipment, and Combat

  • Only weapons and equipment approved by the organization are permitted.

  • Combat must follow established safety rules (striking force, prohibited zones, consent, etc.).

  • Any unsafe or unauthorized modified weapon may be confiscated.

 

5. Consent and Physical Interactions

  • All physical interactions, even in‑game, must be consensual.

  • Scenes involving intense themes (simulated violence, intimidation, domination, etc.) must be clearly announced and may be refused by any participant.

  • Real sexual interactions are prohibited. Fictional sexual content must remain strictly within a narrative storytelling format.

  • Genital nudity is prohibited. Any so-called partial nudity (bare chest) is accepted as long as it is not explicitly sexual.

 

6. Alcohol, Drugs, and Substances

  • Alcohol consumption is prohibited, as we do not have the required license.

  • Illegal drugs are prohibited.

  • Anyone deemed unfit to participate due to substance use may be removed from the game.

  • Cannabis consumption is allowed only in designated areas (around the fire pits) and must not impair consciousness or safety.

 

7. Health and Personal Responsibility

  • Participants are responsible for their own physical and mental condition.

  • Any medical condition that may affect participation must be communicated confidentially to the organization, either during registration or via messaging.

  • The organization is not responsible for any injuries, including those resulting from rule violations or unsafe behavior.

 

8. Respect for the Site

  • Participants must respect the venue, infrastructure, buildings, sanitary facilities, and natural areas.

  • Waste must be collected and disposed of in designated areas.

  • Intentional or negligent damage may result in fees.

 

9. Photos, Videos, and Image Rights

  • By participating in the Event, players agree that photos or videos may be taken by the organization for promotional purposes.

  • Participants may refuse to be photographed by informing the organization clearly before the Event begins.

 

10. Event Cancellation or Modification

  • The organization reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the Event in cases of force majeure, dangerous conditions, or any unforeseen situation.

  • Exceptional refund procedures, if applicable, will be communicated by the organization.

 

11. Exclusion

  • The organization may immediately remove any participant who violates these conditions, without refund.

  • All organizational decisions are final to ensure safety and smooth event operation.

 

12. Acceptance of Conditions

  • Participation in the Event implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

  • Participants acknowledge having read, understood, and accepted these rules before registering.

13. Companion Animals

  • No pets are allowed on site during events.

  • Service dogs/animals must be announced to the organization in advance and must wear equipment clearly identifying them as service animals.

  • Please note that the main organizer of Les Terres d’Igavene has a service dog who will be present at all events.

  • Participants are expected to follow proper public etiquette around the animal.

14. Authority to Amend Policies

  • The organization reserves the full right to revise, update, or expand these rules at any time, with or without prior notice.

  • Such modifications may be implemented to ensure safety, fairness, narrative integrity, operational needs, or the overall quality of the game experience.

  • All participants are expected to remain informed of the most current version of the rules.

  • Continued participation in the event constitutes acceptance of any and all amendments made.
